Often Products are developed by the customer with only the end item in mind, when the primary consideration should be the manufacturability of that product. At M Squared, the emphasis is on refining the design based on the method necessary to produce the product. Once the manufacturing criteria has been established, subcontract sources can be selected for creating the manufacturing process.

Product Design

Part geometry is reviewed to establish criteria necessary to generate the most cost effective design for tooling and manufacturing.

Developing the processes

Once the design has been refined, the process for manufacturing the product is defined.

CAD modeling

Part function and future tooling requirements are supported by extensive 3D modeling capabilities.

Manufacturing Processes

Depending on function, parts can be sourced for injection molding, investment or permanent mold casting, high pressure die casting, resin casting, 3D printing or multi axis CNC machining.

What We Have Done

We converted a customer part file to a 3D model for evaluation and then provided a cost-effective quick change insert for injection molding the part. We then molded the part and decorated it with a painted silver applied bezel.
